Progress feels less slow upon reviewing the evidence: my three baby clubs are growing!

  1. Noteworthy, a Book Club
    1. A few friends expressed interest, but only one has submitted their book choice. Still, one is better than zero, and now I’m realizing I need to…ping this again on their radars.
  2. Gift of Music, a Vinyl Swap Club
    1. I’m envisioning a network, but I’ll return to that later: two people have joined this club! My coffee friend and my soccer friend! I’m marketing it with the suggestion: choose a record you think others will enjoy.
    2. I am currently spinning for around the 25th time the record given to me by my coffee friend, titled Larry Yes. It is so good. It’s great vibing music, and writing. Our trade occurred August 7th – I was only able to listen to it a few times before leaving town that night: All during my trip I thought, “I can’t get Larry Yes out of my head.”
    3. Re: the network vision. The point of the club is shared enrichment: putting others onto great music. You accept your vinyl may not ever come back to you, you just hope it’s spun.
  3. Moonlight Party
    1. I threw a successful Moonlight Party last month! Two friends joined me at Laurelhurst Park to honor the Full Moon: our setup spot was 10 feet away from a beautiful through-the-silver-trees view of the rising Full Moon.
    2. The next one is this coming Thursday: the 27th. I know which park it’ll be in. The Moon rises as 7:49 pm.
